Oh my gosh!!! This is shocking and so SO irresponsible to Leighton's mum's part!
Leighton Meester (Blair from Gossip Girl) is suing her mum, Constance, due to the fact that she used the money Leighton sent for her little brother, Lex, to pay for cosmetic surgery for herself!
Constance doesn't work, and therefore cannot support her son Lex, who has severe medical issues. Leighton felt sorry for him, and as she can afford to help, she would send over an allowance of $7,500 a month to provide for him.
Instead of using this money for her son, Constance spent it on several cosmetic procedures like plastic surgery, botox, and hair extensions. She even threatened to sue Leighton as she was giving her 'only' $7,500, as apposed to the alleged $10,000 she 'promised'.
While it's a horrible occurrence, it's great to see Leighton being the mature one!
