MTV VMAs 2011!!!

I tried blogging at school today, but my internet suddenly quit while I was busy writing, so I never got to post earlier, but I'm SO happy I have a little gap of time now to let all of my VMA excitement out!

Oh. My. Gosh.

What a spectacular night!!!!!!

Beyonce's pregnant, Lady Gaga's a dude..... what a hectic night!!! haha :)

I wasn't able to sleep last night 'cause my mind's hasn't stopped buzzing! I just need to have a long jabber about it, and let it all out!

Everyone looked amazing with the few exceptions (yeah, I'm talking to you, Deena from JS, Kreayshawn...)! The performances were incredible! Kanye, Jay Z, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Adele, Lil Wayne, Bruno Mars, Jessie J.... who am I missing??? Oh, and Chris Brown! I gotta say, his dancing was amazing, but I was so disappointed by the lack of singing... I mean come on... he got famous for his incredible voice..... what happened?

The pre-show was quite funny too... but not purposely... Justin and Selena giggling through the whole interview, with Selena trying to act professional and Justin just wanting to kiss her! It was so cute! 

Tyler the Creator's interview was pretty funny too.... he really loves his mum! I guess that's a good thing, right?  The only bad thing was the correspondent who interviewed him. Man, that guy was full of hate!

I am so incredibly proud of Demi Lovato. Maybe she didn't win an award, or even perform, but she looked incredibly stunning, and the second she walked onto the 'black' carpet she got hate and mean comments about her weight and appearance, even after all she's been through. I mean can you really be THAT insensitive? And the thing is, is that she isn't even fat... or slightly overweight! I just don't understand it.... Oh, and when I got to school this morning (all VMA talk, all day), someone I was talking with commented on her saying she looked 'on the bigger side' (I really hope they're not reading haha), but anyway, I got offended.

What else is there to really say? Congrats to all the nominees and winners, and now I shall be getting back to my homework!

If I finish my homework I'll blog some more later :)

Last night/today/(time zones mix me up), Taylor Swift brought out her special friend, this guy named "Justin Bieber" to perform at her concert at the Staples Centre in LA!

I just bought tickets to see Taylor Swift on her Speak Now Tour in Australia on March 13th. March 13!!! as in 13!!!! Taylor's luckiest number. Could this actually get any better??!!!!
I'm so. so. soooo happy and excited right now! I'm actually freaking out. 
I've gotten over the fact that I am now officially completely broke. Not a dime in my purse! But at least I'm seeing Taylor in concert, right!? haha :)


Gaaaaaaah! I'm so excited! And I had to tell someone! One last time. OH MY GOLLY GOSH. WOW.

Taylor Lautner in Melbourne!!!

Oh My Gosh.
I still cannot get over the fact that I was busy on Sunday night, and couldn't go to the Jam Factory to see Taylor Lautner. The man himself. In person. 20 minutes from my house. 
We practically breathed the same air!!!!! Aaaaah!

Taylor was here for the red carpet premiere for "Abduction" held at the Jam Factory Cinema in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday (August 21).

He met with fans, took pics and also answered some questions at the Q&A session before the film.

He is currently in Sydney.

I guess there's always next time! (Hopefully!)

Hola Amigos!!!

Sorry I've been so MIA! Life has been hectic with tons of school work and parties! It feels like all of my recent posts have been *sorry i haven't been posting* posts! I promise this will change! haha :)

Anyway, I wanted to say a massive CONGRATS to Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries on their wedding yesterday! I cannot wait to see the full photos and videos!!!! I've only seen little sneak peaks, of what looks like an incredible event!

Hilary Duff: Anniversary and PREGNANT!!!!

Oh. Em. Gee. I am so so so so so so so times a billion happy and excited right now!!!!!
Ever since I was about 7 I have absolutely LOVED Hilary Duff. She still hasn't failed me to this day. I loved Lizzie McGuire, saw every episode, the movies, got all her cds, her perfumes, everything, and cried when I found out I got tickets to her 2008 tour for my batmitzvah. I will always love and support her, and you litereally have NO idea how happy I am about this news, and just happy about her happiness in general.

Yesterday, Hilary shared wedding pictures on her official website/blog, in honour of her first anniversary, and added a short, sweet, but very exciting note, saying:

RSPCA Cupcake Day

Hola Amigos!

As you may have noticed from my Twitter icon, tomorrow is the official RSPCA Cupcake Day. I have spent all of today baking and decorating cupcakes with my friend, Mai, and while I feel like I'm about to collapse, I am totally ready to sell them all at school tomorrow, and save some animals!
I try to do at least one charity fundraiser a year. Two years ago I hosted a tea party where I made and sold cute crafts, accessories and sweet treats, and last year I did Cupcake Day by myself. Charity fundraisers are always fu to plan and do, and pay off for both you and your charity of choice!

Here is a bit about my charity of choice, The RSPCA:

The RSPCA is the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, a non-profit, community based charity that works to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection.

The RSPCA is not an agency of the Australian Government and therefore relies on the generosity of the community – through animal adoptions, volunteering, event participation, donations, fundraising, corporate partnerships, corporate support, bequests and grants – to support its vital daily work.

The main objectives of the RSPCA are:

• To prevent cruelty to animals by enforcing the existing laws.
• To procure the passage of such amending or new legislation as is necessary for the protection of animals.
• To sustain an intelligent public opinion regarding animal welfare.
• To take whatever steps are necessary to educate the community with regard to the humane treatment of animals.
• To diffuse information about the care, protection and treatment of animals by publishing and circulating literature and conducting lectures, seminars and competitions.
• To conduct, manage, operate or encourage clinics, hospitals, homes or shelters for the care, treatment, maintenance and protection of animals, and to acquire and conduct ambulance and/or other means of relevant animal transport.

The RSPCA’s Five Freedoms

The RSPCA considers that an animal’s welfare should be considered in terms of five freedoms:

1. Freedom from Hunger and Thirst – by ready access to fresh water and a diet to maintain full health and vigour.
2. Freedom from Discomfort – by providing an appropriate environment including shelter and a comfortable resting area.
3. Freedom from Pain, Injury or Disease – by prevention by rapid diagnosis and treatment.
4. Freedom to Express Normal Behaviour – by providing sufficient space, proper facilities and company of the animal’s own kind.
5. Freedom from Fear and Distress – by ensuring conditions and treatment which avoid mental suffering.

Demi chatted to Alex from The Hot Hits Live From LA, and he asked the one thing her Australian fans most what to know -- when is she coming to Australia?

Demi said, "I would love to come to Australia. I've always wanted to go, I've never been."

And then she dropped a bombshell -- a world tour size bombshell. A world tour that would include Australia.

She revealed, "I might be planning a world tour, and it definitely would be one of the main places where I would want to go because I've never been."

We're going to hold you to this Demi -- your world tour better come to Australia!

Demi Lovato: Unbroken!

Earlier today, Demi Lovato announced (via twitter, of course) the name of her upcoming album, as well as a sneak peak of the artwork for the album (above)! It is official that Demi's third album will be called Unbroken. I truly couldn't have ever though of a better name!

I can't wait for the release date of the album. If its half as good as Skyscraper it will be INCREDIBLE!

Justin instagramed this pic of him looking all bashed and beaten up... the only question... what is it for?
I don't exactly see JB as the 'gang basher' type... and I don't think his mum Pattie would ever do something like this... (Although I clearly do remember Justin saying if he misbehaved him 'momma would slap him in the head' haha). I'm guessing it's either for TV or a photoshoot.

Sorry about not posting for ages, but I've been away at camp! I tried to post a ton earlier, but Blogger failed on me, and all of my posts have been cleared off the face of this earth!!! Rest assured, I'm back, and Blogger is working, so I PROMISE to always keep you guys updated on celeb, style, and other random news! (For example, Glee's 3D concert movie came out today!).
There has been tons of stuff going on since I was away, like the Teen Choice Awards, but I have decided not to post too much about it since it was last week. All I want to say is that I'm soooo proud of everyone who was nominated, and I'm sure most of you will agree that it was the best TCA's ever!!! I'd also like to congratulate two girls I look up to, Elle and Blair Fowler, on their first nomination ever!

Hey guys!

You seriously have NO idea how much I missed blogging while I was at camp! Especially with everything that went on while I was gone! I cannot believe they scheduled school camp at the time of the Teen Choice Awards! I mean, who does that!!!? 

Anyway, I was thinking about blogging about the TCAs, but realised that it's a bit late now... I'll just focus on the present and the future :)

Oooh! I almost forgot about the MEGA exciting Taylor Swift news!!!! Taylor is touring Australia in March 2012! Ticket release dates and concert dates have been confirmed, and I am seriously freaking out. Like, I'm sorta in denial that she's actually bringing Speak Now here!

Miley Cyrus... Smoking...

I seriously do NOT mean to offend anyone in this post, but I have to voice my opinion.

Recently, Miley Cyrus has been spotted multiple times, smoking cigarettes. I am TOTALLY against (PLEASE do NOT take offence) smoking, and am so so SO disappointed to see these pictures.
I LOVE Miley. She was incredible in concert earlier this year, and I have been a massive fan of hers for YEARS, since the start of Hannah Montana.

I cannot stress enough how horrible smoking is for you, and while I know and understand that Miley has grown up, and can do whatever she wants, it saddens me to watch her put her body, voice, and health in such jeopardy.
